Like some of the other reviewers, I purchased this 2-pack of Now Designs ripple towels through Amazon last spring based on the recommendation of America's Test Kitchen. The towels I received were made in Turkey, which is known for its high quality cotton. However, the side hem unraveled on one of the towels following the first washing. Very disappointing because the material itself is strong and absorbent. I didn't return them as I didn't want to hassle with it, but I won't buy them again.

This stuff does work but be warned, it does damage your hair. I would not recommend using it every day like I did. After going through about 3/4 of the jar my hair started to look very "ratty". I stopped using it and gave my hair some deep conditioning treatments, which greatly improved the texture. But wow, I was shocked how damaging it was.

This is a great hair product. Gives u sexy Beach hair and Bed Head. All though you cant use it all the time. The sand really takes a toll on your hair and the ingredients really hold on and It can be hard to wash out. Best used when your hair is clean, naturally dry with a spritz of water and used very sparingly(Teaspoon or less!). Too much product and water will make your hair crunchy and Dirty Looking. It is also expensive so It should be saved for better days. It lasts all day! Do not try to comb threw you hair or use your fingers or your hair will turn into frizz central. Fluff your hair. By far my favorite...Very Sexy Product!

Australian hair stylist, Kevin Murphy, creator of Kusco-Murphy hair products has packaged a day at the beach in a jar. At the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition 2000, sand blew into Murphy's hair products and history was made with Kusco Murphy Beach Hair. Kusco-Murphy has blended crushed Bamboo for volume, Stinging Nettle for strength and Coconut Oil with Bergamot to replicate your hair after a day at the beach.

To use Kusco Murphy Beach Hair: Style the hair as usual. Once dry, apply a small amount of Beach Hair onto the hands and scrunch the hair beginning at the ends until the product dries (about 5 seconds). The more you use the stronger the affect. Feel how the hair has more texture. Keep moulding until you have the desired affect. Rubbing the hair gives it a soft textured result. Beach Hair will rinse out in water.

This is a great welding cart. It is the perfect size for my Hobart 240V welder with a large gas tank. The assembly was easy and it looks really sharp. I would recommend this to anyone.

This product exceeded my expectation. It is solidly constructed and very stable. The wheels and casters are smooth. The other nice feature is there are notches where the gas bottle sits so the bottle is less likely to move around or tip when you move the cart. It is a little more expensive than others I've looked at, but I imagine you get what you pay for. I would purchase it again.

There are some great reviews for this card here but beware not everyone may have the same experience. I bought this card as a final upgrade for my aging AGP motherboard. I use it for flight simulation and online ATC activities. These type environments tend to push the envelope a bit further than first person shooters.

Overall the card DOES improve the performance and graphics, no argument there, but...

The video driver released for this card was causing problems with the display of the flight simulator cockpit right out of the box. It took nVidia over 6 months to release a driver update that "patched" the problem but the driver is still having issues. Even though that problem has been squelched there are issues with "white outs" depending on the weather conditions simulated in the game. On another program used for online ATC simulation the program would crash randomly to the desktop when loading the radar (an error would popup related to the video).

Other games I played worked with little problem. So if you just want to enjoy a first person shooter than you might get by, but I highly recommend you go with an ATI brand because the technical support at nVidia concerning this problem has been nill to nothing! I always got great technical support from ATI.

All of the above problems disappeared when my older (and trusted) ATI card was reinstalled with the current Catalyst drivers.

I knocked off two stars because of the driver issues and the nVidia technical support issues.

Game settings that choked my old card (GeForce FX5950 Ultra 256MB) to 5fps now go at tolerable 20fps with this card, while my computer's 3DMark05 score with the old card was 1262 (LOL!) and flew up to 5457 when the BFG GeForce 7800 was swapped into the system. With the old card, my comp was in the basement at the 9th percentile among 277,000+ systems tested, and went to the 57th percentile overall. It was in the top 10% of P4 systems. Basically, the GeForce 7800 took my old system as high as an AGP/P4 system can go.

No compatability issues so far (3 weeks of use) on 15 or so games. I'm pleased that I can run games such as Oblivion, Guild Wars, Eve, and FlightSim at detail settings that are satisfying.

BFG recommends a minimum of 400 watts power, which is exactly what I have. No problems feeding the GeForce 7800 even though I have plenty of other stuff running.

I was hesitant at first as to whether or not I should sink more money into my 5 y.o. system, but now I'm glad I made the purchase. My comp is viable once again for mainstream gaming.

(My system: 400W PSU, 2.8GHz P4, crappy Intel MoBo, 4GB RAM, 2 SATA HDs w/fans, 2 optical drives, 3 case fans, Win XP Pro/SP3).

I upgraded my August 2003 Alienware computer from a 256mB GeForce FX 5900 Ultra to this card based upon more than one recommendation that this was the fastests AGP card made. Even though though this means that the technology is still old in terms of currently available products. Once the PCI-e standard became established, and eventually SLI technology became the mainstay, AGP products quickly became the dinosaurs of PC technology. While I still feel there is still some get and and go in my old mule of a PC, this change of video standards made my PC virtually obsolete. There is little chance I can get a lot more use out of it, when this is the last stop on the upgrade trail.

Still, I am surprised at the level of improvement. I have noticed some lag time when rendering scenes with a lot of depth (while panning the camera), but nothing that seems to be directly tied to performance. It is much improved. I got this based on someone else's recommendation about its performance with Neverwinter Nights 2. I found the performance to be pretty decent, and a HUGE improvement over my previous card. I was still somewhat surprised that this game didn't run better, but it is infamous for having steep system requirements. Jade Empire, however, ran perfect, and technically, it has the SAME system requirements.

I have seen recommendations as to upgrading RAM, but I have not yet done so, since I don't know if there are any special requirements for the latest RAM to function properly on my 2004 board. I just haven't spent that much time on that, hoping that the card would fix all that aills me...

Still, the performance has been good, though not blazing, and the little blue light which comes on while it is running is cool, though I doubt it helps performance any. This is a great deal on a good card, and I would recommend it for any AGP user, with the caveat that this card is far from new technology-wise, and the performance may not be enough to do wonders with the latest games... but it more than enough to get you bye.

Honestly, I was terrified when I was two separate USB cables coming out of the box. I prefer minimalism, and I was okay with one USB cable with two heads (in earlier versions), rather than two separate ones. What if I loose one of them?
Also, I work in an environment where I have to constantly plug and unplug the drive, and I am a bit confused which of the cable I have to unplug first, so that the drive would spin down correctly. I'm hearing "power failure" sounds. The documentation was no help here.
Another thing, USB 3.0 plug into the drive has a very thin wired stick inside. I am afraid I'm gonna break it one day. It's a shock-proof hard drive, which is extremely fragile at the same time.

Transcend 750 GB 2.5-Inch USB 3.0 Military-Grade Shock Resistance Portable External Hard Drive for Mac and PC TS750GSJ25M3


I have owned and used a number of portable USB 2.5in external hard drives over the years. This one looks like the best of the bunch, out of the box. It is by far the most solidly constructed, whisper quiet, and hardly gets luke-warm to the touch.

I had some concerns about USB 3.0 because it requires a separate power cable to give the drive enough juice to take advantage of the speed. I don't yet have a computer with USB 3.0, so I did not want to have to use the power cable for USB 2.0 transfers. Sure enough, the drive worked just fine on my old Dell E1505 laptop with just the data cable attached. The surprise came with my ASUS netbook. I often have to use a power cable to keep an external HDD connected. The Transcend works first time, every time, even when the netbook is on battery. In my experience, this is outstanding!

My only issue thus far: I can't change the drive name from "Local Disk" to something more distinctive. I have not explored the "Elite" support software, so maybe the answer lies somewhere in there. If not, it will be part of my next contact with Transcend tech support. (UPDATE: No joy so far; I emailed Tech Support about this)

Before purchasing, I called Transcend's branch in Maryland, and got through to a human being on the second try. Tech support assured me that if I was willing to violate the 3-year warranty, I could insert a 2.5in 1Tb or even a 1.5Tb drive in the enclosure, and it should recognise the drive. I will probably not be trying that for at least part of the warranty period, but it is comforting to know that I can get the anti-shock benefits of this product with a larger drive. It appears that there is still work to be done on the 1Tb+ 2.5in drives until they become genuinely reliable, so waiting awhile seems a good bet.

UPDATE: One other possible weak point is the USB 3.0 aka SuperSpeed USB cable. It appears to be standard -- that is, it is not proprietary to the drive. However, these cables are still hard to come by, and they are costly. Best deal I could find online is about $20 for a very short cable. That's 20% of the cost of the drive! I imagine price will fall and availability will rise over the next year or so. In the meantime, it will be important to treat the cable very gently. It is by far the most vulnerable part of the package.

When we used the this travelmate first time, my husband unscrewed the carseat from the travel mate in the airplane seat. One screw fell off under the seat and we could not find it. At the end of the flight, we found it. In the last international flight, since my child is big enough not using the carseat in the plane, we checked in the travelmate with carseat on it on the gate. When we got it again, one travelmate's screw was ripped off with a piece from the plastic plate. The travelmate cannot be used anymore. We like the travelmate since it really convenient not to carry our child around in the airport during a long international flight and we can "tie" him on the seat when we are checking the luggage it.

I purchased this gadget to carry my 18-month old son during a recent flight to South America, coupled to a Sunshine Kids Radian 65SL. These are my impressions:

You should decide first how essential it is to have your kid's car seat with you on the airplane. In some circumstances, it's more convenient/comfortable to just carry him/her on board and place them on the regular plane seat, with the added advantage that you can lift the armrest and have him/her lie down and sleep. Of course, you must hold them in your arms during take off and landing. I discovered that, with my 18-month old, taking a car seat aboard a plane is definitely not worth it.

If you decide you need to take the car seat with you:

The car seat attaches to the Travelmate with an adjustable belt that's fairly easy to pass through the car seat's belt path and tighten. However, you must hold the car seat in place in a somewhat awkward position to properly tighten the belt. The only way I've been able to do that without help is by placin the Travelmate flat against a wall and pushing on the seat with my knee while tightening the belt. Minor annoyance.

Once attached tightly, the contraption is quite stable and maneouverable. My kid loved it. The wheels have a cushiony feel to them, softening the ride.

Passing the assembled set through airport X rays is quite a challenge. My car seat's seat folds up, and barely passed through. Other seats may require disassembly. The wheels are easily removable with a clip each, further reducing the width. Be careful when removing the wheels as the axle comes loose and may fall off inside the X Ray machine.

Inside the airplane: Useless. It's too wide to roll down the economy section aisle of any normal airplane. You WILL have to pick it up and carry it, and if the car seat is heavy (like mine) you will NOT be happy. If you MUST take it on board, try to get seats as close to the door as possible. Furthermore, if you remove the car seat, the Travelmate will not fit under the seat in front of you; you'll need to find space overhead.

Overall: Practical and well built. A bit awkward to attach to the seat. NOT practical onboard an airplane, you should disassemble it before stepping on board. I would not recommend taking it on a long trip with layovers if you're travelling alone. Do, however, ponder carefully before deciding to take a car seat on the plane, it may not be the best option.

The product is great. it worked perfectly, My 20 moth-old son and i travel through the air port with ease. unfortunately once we got on the plane (American AirlinesM80 the seat did not fit through the isle so i had to hold up boarding as i got my son out of his car seat and then had to have another passenger carry the seat for me as i carried my son to our seats.It is VERY easy to attach and detach both at security and on the plane. it was WAY easier than my previous travels when i carried my son's car seat in a backpack and gate checked my stroller. Overall it's excellent if only the plane was bigger!
